Every tenant has the right to a safe, secure, and healthy environment in which to live.
We, the tenants of Nob Hill, united in our concern for the well-being of all residents, are demanding immediate action to address the unsafe and deteriorating living conditions of our homes.
We, as tenants, are not asking for extraordinary conditions, but for basic, dignified, and habitable living spaces. It is the landlord's legal and ethical responsibility to provide these conditions, and we demand they be met without further delay.
We Want
An effective maintenance system including the following:
Emergency maintenance number with a live and immediate response
Response to maintenance requests within 24-48 hours max
Notification of entry for repairs within 24 hours of entry
Receipt of completion of repair
Mass notification of maintenance issues affecting multiple tenants
2. That the two elevators in each building be fully functioning and reliable
3. Secure and consistently functioning entry doors in all buildings
4. Reliable and consistent access to heat and air conditioning in apartments and common areas
5. Reliable and consistent access to clean and hot water
6. Reliable, functional, and consistent access to tenant paid parking garages
7. Adequate emergency lighting to code in all stairwells and common areas
8. Consistent trash and debris removal from trash repositories, removal areas, and common areas
9. Consistent pest control in all buildings (elimination of pests)
10. Cameras in all common areas to deter vagrant violations to residents (laundry rooms and hallways)
